For growers across the WA, baling is a race against changing weather. The priority is getting valuable bales out of the paddock quickly, into neat, stable stacks and protected from exposure.
The Arcusin AutoStack XP54T allows one operator to collect, transport and stack bales directly from the tractor cab, with no prior experience required. With output of up to 100 bales per hour, it keeps pace with the baler, allowing bales to be stacked as baling progresses rather than left waiting in the paddock.
This reduces reliance on the traditional combination of trucks, telehandlers and multiple operators. The result is lower capital and labour costs, less double handling and fewer delays between baling and stacking, particularly useful in changeable weather.
The XP54T handles 12 standard 8 × 4 × 3 ft bales, two wide and six high. Its floating, single-turn pick-up lifts bales without pushing or dragging them, protecting bale quality, while an automatic chain control activates only when a bale is detected.
Hydraulically adjustable side panels and intelligent unloading tines create neat, stable stacks, even on sloped ground, while reducing the risks associated with loading trucks, securing loads and falling bales. The machine's own independent hydraulic system means performance isn't limited by the tractor. With a 16,000 kg carrying capacity and the flexibility to handle hay, straw and grain-crop bales, the XP54T is well suited to Western Australian broadacre operations.
