Harvest-Ready: What's New in the Trufab Bin Lineup
For farmers across Australia, harvest efficiency comes down to trust in your equipment, and few names carry that trust like Trufab. Since 1978, Burando Hill has been at the forefront of grain harvest and transfer solutions, helping growers move grain faster, safer and more efficiently. In 1980, that mission led to a partnership with Trufab, and more than four decades later, the relationship continues to deliver practical, Australian-made bins built for real paddock conditions. Having the right storage and haulage gear on hand at harvest can make the difference between a smooth run and a costly bottleneck.
Trufab Mother Bins
Available in 125T and 150T capacities, with an 85T model also available on request, Trufab Mother Bins are engineered for heavy-duty broadacre harvest work. Every bin can be configured with a 14" or 18" discharge auger, and buyers can choose between PTO or hydraulic sweep, and PTO or hydraulic discharge, depending on how the bin will be used on farm. Colour matching is also available for those wanting a bin that fits seamlessly into an existing fleet.

Standard features are built with durability in mind: a full-length roll tarp to protect grain from the weather, new tyres, an inspection and access door in the floor, and multiple viewing windows, with four fitted on the 125T model and six on the larger 150T. The heavy-duty fabricated construction is designed specifically to handle the demands of Australian broadacre conditions season after season.
For growers wanting to tailor a bin further, a wide range of options is available, including remote floor-auger shut-off, an all-hydraulic configuration where available, a work light, hard-wired beacon, mudguard kits, a removable internal ladder, additional inspection windows, a fire extinguisher, a water tank, a rear tow hitch and a sample chute.
Trufab Chaser Bin
Back by popular demand, the new Trufab Chaser Bin offers 49,000L capacity, or 38T nominal, with an 18" discharge auger available on either the left or right side to suit different paddock layouts. Built for stability and control, it rides on a tandem axle with rear steering, suspension and brakes, paired with 750/60R30.5 radial flotation tyres and 24.00 x 30.5 wheels.

Everyday usability has been front of mind in the design. A fold-down step ladder provides safe floor access, while a single-lever clean-out system speeds up the end of the job. Taillights and a rear flashing beacon improve visibility around the farm and on the road, and a camera kit covering the rear bin and discharge auger gives operators a clear view of what's happening behind them, with an additional screen available as an optional extra. The bin also includes two front viewing windows and two low side windows for easy visual checks during filling and unloading.
For those wanting extra capability, options include an 800L fire-fighting kit, colour matching and a sample chute. It's also worth noting a few other standard features that stand out on this machine, including the full-length roll tarp, hydraulic auger fold with over-centre locking, hydraulic floor auger and a 24-month limited warranty.
Whether you're upgrading your mother bin fleet or adding a chaser bin to speed up harvest logistics, the Trufab range through Burando Hill delivers proven, Australian-built performance backed by a partnership going back to 1980. Get in touch with your local branch to request a quote.
