WHY USE A HYDRAULIC HITCH?
The Protrakker enables seeding bars to have an accuracy of less than 2 cm. It achieves this by placing a GPS receiver on the bar, comparing that to the GPS in the tractor, and the Protrakker eliminates the difference. On many broad acre farms, accuracy when seeding is extremely important, as often the soil is dry between the row and moist under the stubble row. To start, straighten your lines when seeding, and in years after that, due to the unmatched accuracy, you can place your seed right next to the moisture zone under the stubble rows. This can give the farmer a huge advantage as your crop is able to access moisture where it previously could not. If you experience a dry start to your season, this product will help your crop gain an advantage. The Protrakker also helps with stubble / trash handling. GENERAL INFORMATION
The hydraulic hitch will enable an accuracy of 2cm or less, by having an additional GPS unit on your bar. The hydraulic hitch will compare the GPS position of your tractor and your bar, and negate the difference automatically by swinging your bar one way or the other. This means that once your lines are straightened out during the first year of seeding, you can take advantage of those straightened lines in the second year to target the moisture pathways that are under last years stubble. By consistently placing seed right next to the moisture pathway, it creates a massive advantage when experiencing a dry start to the season. It also helps greatly with stubble / trash handling.
